- Participants: 2 youth workers /trainers /educators /teachers from our organisation.
- Reimbursement: travel tickets will be paid based on EU distance calculator upon receipt of invoices and boarding passes.
Food: The venue of the training will serve the participants with 3- times-a-day meals and snacks and beverages for the coffee breaks.
WHAT IS THIS PDA ABOUT?
Escape2Explore Lab is a PDA designed for youth workers who want to learn how to create engaging and educational escaperoom experiences, both indoors and outdoors.The training will bring together participants and 2 trainers from partner organizations, providing a hands-on learning environment to explore game-based learning, problem-solving, and experiential education. The main goal of the project is to equip youth workers with practical skills in designing and facilitating escape rooms as innovative tools for teamwork, critical thinking, and engagement in youth work. By mastering these interactive methods, participants will be able to motivate and empower young people, fostering creativity, collaboration, and active participation in their local communities.
🎯 Objectives
✔️ Train youth workers in escape room design and facilitation for educational purposes.
✔️ Enhance creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork skills through game-based learning.
✔️ Develop facilitation techniques to lead interactive and immersive activities.
✔️ Use escape rooms as tools for personal development and youth engagement.
✔️ Foster international cooperation and knowledge exchange between youth organizations.
NOTE: ALL THE PARTICIPANTS NEED TO BE PROFESIONAL AND TO BE ACTIVE DURING THE PDA PROGRAM, THIS IS NOT A TRIP!
🏝️ Venue: Island Rab, Croatia
The training will take place in a stunning island setting, offering an immersive learning experience in a natural environment. The accommodation is located 300m from the beach, providing a perfect balance between work and relaxation.
👥 Who Can Apply?
✅ Youth workers, educators, trainers, or facilitators (20+ years old).
✅ Have a proven interest in youth empowerment, leadership, and interactive learning.
✅ Be actively involved in youth work at a local, regional, or international level.
✅ Commit to actively participating during the entire training course.
✅ Be willing to collaborate in dissemination activities after the training.
✅ Have at least B2 level English proficiency.
💰 Costs & Funding
💸 Fully funded by Erasmus+ (Accommodation, meals, and activities covered).
✈️ Travel reimbursement up to the limits set by the Erasmus+ program.
📜 Certificate of Participation & YouthPass upon completion of the training.
