Are you ready to leave your everyday routine for a few days, spend time in nature, meet young people from different European countries and discover new ways of taking care of your mental well-being?
Then this opportunity could be for you!

š§ ABOUT THE PROJECT
Your Trail to Mental BalanceĀ is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange focused on mental health, psychohygiene and well-being.
The project will bring together young people from different European countries and create a safe and friendly environment where participants can learn from one another, exchange experiences and discover practical ways of improving their mental balance.
Instead of sitting in a classroom, much of the learning will happen through non-formal education, outdoor experiences, teamwork, movement, reflection and intercultural interaction.
The aim is not only to talk about mental health, but also to experience different ways of slowing down, reconnecting with ourselves, becoming active and building meaningful connections with other people.

š² WHAT WILL WE DO?
During the Youth Exchange, participants will experience a varied programme including:

šļø WHERE WILL IT TAKE PLACE?
The project will be organised in the beautiful TÅeboÅsko region of the Czech Republic, close to the Austrian border.
Participants will stay in Penzion Kosky, surrounded by nature, the Lužnice River and the famous sand lakes of the area.
During the project we will also explore different locations, including:
šļø NovohradskĆ© Mountains
Participants will visit the area around DobrĆ” Voda and HojnĆ” VodaĀ and hike towards KravĆ hora mountain ā 962 metres.
š° Äeský Krumlov
We will visit one of the Czech Republicās most beautiful historical towns and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its medieval architecture, castle and unique atmosphere.
š TÅeboÅsko
The region is known for its hundreds of historic artificial lakes, forests and beautiful natural landscapes ā an ideal setting for an exchange about mental balance and well-being.

š” ACCOMMODATION & FOOD
Participants will stay at:
Penzion Kosky
The guesthouse will be reserved for the Erasmus+ group.
Participants will have:
š Accommodation in rooms for 1ā3 peoplešæ Private bathroomšļø Single bedsš½ļø Full boardš„¤ Free soft drinksš³ Access to a large gardenš« Conference/activity roomš¶ Wi-Fi throughout the accommodation
š„ WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
ACPELIA is looking for young people aged 18ā30 living in CyprusĀ who:
ā Are motivated and open to new experiences
ā Would like to meet and cooperate with young people from other countries
ā Are interested in mental well-being, outdoor education and intercultural learning
ā Are respectful, tolerant and open-minded
ā Are willing to contribute to a friendly environment where discrimination is not accepted
ā Have sufficient English to communicate with the international group
ā Are ready for an active programme involving walking, hiking and sports
ā Are willing to participate actively throughout the whole Youth Exchange
š Participants with fewer opportunities are especially encouraged to apply.
For participants with fewer opportunities, basic English is sufficient, as support can be provided by the group leader.
š THIS IS NOT A TOURIST TRIP
An Erasmus+ Youth Exchange is much more than travelling to another country.
Participants are expected to be actively involved in the programme, cooperate with their international team, participate in activities and contribute to the learning process.
At the same time, you will have the opportunity to discover new places, cultures and people while developing skills and experiences that can stay with you long after the project ends.
š¶ FINANCIAL CONDITIONS
The project is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme.

ā Project activities
āļø Travel reimbursement
Travel expenses can be reimbursed up to ā¬395 per participant, according to Erasmus+ rules and the projectās financial conditions.
Participants should look for the most economical travel options.
There is a ā¬50 participant contributionĀ covering the full-day excursion to Äeský Krumlov and transfers between project activity locations. This amount can be deducted from the travel reimbursement.
Travel reimbursement will be completed within a maximum of three months after the activity.
ā ļø Travel tickets must be approved by the organisers before purchase.
āļø TRAVEL
The official travel days are:
ā”ļø Arrival: Sunday, 4 October 2026ā¬ ļø Departure: Sunday, 11 October 2026
Participants can travel through:
āļø Prague Airport (PRG)orāļø Vienna Airport (VIE)
From Prague or Vienna, participants can continue by train towards Majdalena, where the hosting organisation will arrange transportation to the accommodation.
𩺠IMPORTANT
Participants must have travel insurance covering the complete duration of the activity.
As the programme contains considerable outdoor activity, participants should also be prepared for changing October weather and bring suitable:
š„¾ Outdoor shoesš§„ Warm clothingš§ļø Raincoatš Comfortable clothes for activities
š INTERNATIONAL & CULTURAL EXPERIENCE
Each national group will also contribute to an International Evening.
So be ready to bring some typical Cypriot:
šØš¾ Food and sweetsšµ Musicš Traditionsšø Cultural materialš Small items representing Cyprus
This will be our chance to introduce Cyprus to the other participants while discovering their cultures too!
š¢ AFTER THE YOUTH EXCHANGE
The experience does not end when we return to Cyprus.
Participants will be encouraged to share what they learned and help disseminate the project and Erasmus+ opportunities.
The Cypriot team will also contribute to a local follow-up activity, using ideas, methods or tools experienced during the Youth Exchange.
We are looking for participants who want not only to take something from the project, but also to bring something back to their local community.
