ACPELIA is excited to be a partner in the Erasmus+ youth mobility project ā(UN)Pluggedā, coordinated by SportsroomĀ and hosted in Sofia, Bulgaria.
š What is ā(UN)Pluggedā?
š Project Concept: Bridging Digital and Physical Well-being
In todayās fast-paced digital world, Generation Z (born 1997ā2012) is more digitally connected than ever, but often at the cost of their physical and mental well-being. The (UN)Plugged project seeks to address this imbalance by encouraging young people to both āplug inā to technology for movement and health and āunplugā to reduce stress, engage in real-world activities, and improve mindfulness.
The project uses digital tools as a starting pointāintegrating Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and gamified sports appsāto spark youth interest in movement and self-care. Then, it encourages stepping away from screens through sports, inclusive games, yoga sessions, and group reflection to foster holistic well-being.
šÆ Project Objectives
š” Equip youth workers and participants with innovative methods to use digital tools for health promotion.
š§ Promote mental health, resilience, and self-careĀ among young people.
š¤ Foster social inclusion, teamwork, and intercultural dialogueĀ through collaborative sports and non-formal education.
šāāļø Encourage a balanced lifestyle, where young people consciously manage screen time and physical activity.
š² Explore how VR, AR, and gamified fitness appsĀ can become allies in creating healthy daily routines.

šāāļø What Activities to Expect
Participants will take part in a wide variety of fun, educational, and inclusive activities, including:
Inclusive volleyballĀ and team sports
Yoga and mindfulnessĀ sessions to relieve stress and improve focus
Creative workshops focused on inclusion and digital health habits
Hands-on experiences with VR and AR toolsĀ promoting physical movement
Intercultural nights, debates, and role-playing sessions
These sessions will be delivered using non-formal educationĀ methods and facilitated by expert trainers and youth workers from across Europe.

šø Erasmus+ will cover the following costs:
āļø Travel reimbursement (based on national distance limits)
šļø Full board accommodation (lodging, 3 meals/day)
š All materials and project activities
š No participation fee
š A Youthpass CertificateĀ upon successful completion
