Join ACPELIA’s Team in the Erasmus+ Project:
“Digital NGOs Speaking Youth Language (SYL)”
Are you passionate about digital transformation, youth empowerment, and non-formal education?Would you like to take part in an international Erasmus+ project, travel to Romania, and implement meaningful activities in Cyprus?
ACPELIA is forming a dedicated team of 5 youth workers to take part in our newly approved Erasmus+ KA210 project, titled “SYL: Digital NGOs Speaking Youth Language.”
This project aims to empower NGOs and youth professionals to better communicate with young people by mastering modern digital tools, creating inclusive and impactful online content, and organizing innovative local and international training sessions.
🔎 About the SYL Project
Today’s youth engage and communicate in a fast-evolving digital world. The SYL project responds to the growing need for NGOs to speak this “youth language” using creative digital strategies, such as branding, social media campaigns, online engagement, and structured communication.
Through this project, we aim to:
Support the digital transformation of 15 youth NGOs across Cyprus, Portugal, and Romania
Equip 30 youth workers with cutting-edge digital communication and organizational management skills
Create and share a multilingual Digital Guide for Community Organizations
Organize training sessions, local events, and a Closing Conference
👤 Who Are We Looking For?
We’re selecting 5 youth workers or aspiring youth professionals based in Cyprus who will be officially part of ACPELIA’s team for this project. This team will:
Receive hands-on training
Participate in an international Training of Trainers in Romania (April 2026)
Support the design and implementation of local workshops in Cyprus (May–September 2026)
Help disseminate the Guide and digital practices to local NGOs and youth groups
Join the final conference and open days to showcase project results
We’re looking for individuals who:
Are aged >18
Have some experience in youth work or volunteering
Are enthusiastic about digital skills, social media, and communication
Are able to commit time to both international and local project phases
Want to develop their own capacities and make an impact in their community
📘 What Will You Learn?
As part of this project, the selected youth workers will:
Be trained on 3 key digital communication topics:
Branding & Social Media
Volunteer Management and Organizational Coordination
Organizational Fundraising & Outreach
Gain real-life experience in training others and public speaking
Learn how to engage audiences effectively online
Collaborate across cultures and gain international project experience
Be part of a growing European youth network advocating for digital inclusion

📅 Project Period: September 2025 – November 2026
🔹 Kick-off Meeting in Portugal (October 2025)
🔹 Digital Training Guide development (Nov 2025 – Mar 2026)
🔹 Training of Trainers in Romania (April 2026)
🔹 Community Trainings in Cyprus, Portugal, Romania (May – September 2026)
🔹 Closing Conference & Open Days (October – November 2026)
