Project Name: Culture and Arts for Inclusion (CAFIN)
Duration: From 01/03/2023 – 28/02/2024 (12 months)
Activity: Youth Exchange at Hylatio Tourist Village (www.hylatio.com.cy), Pissouri, Limassol, Cyprus for 48 youngsters and 6 leaders (15 youngsters and 2 leader from each organization) and 2 stakeholders in activities with Non Formal Educational for Inclusion.
Activity dates: 30 of September to 8 of October 2023 (including travelling dates)

16 youngsters (ages 15 to 20) and 2 leaders will be selected from our organisation.
Main Idea of the Project
The purpose of the youth exchange is to bring together 48 youngsters (ages 14 – 18) from 3 organizations and 6 leaders in order to understand the topic of discrimination, intolerance and violence and their consequences in life of each participant. The project involves the development of inclusion through creative workshops (art and dance activities), as well as forum-theater, which involve the disclosure of the inner potential of each teenager and the active participation of each participant.
The Project specific objectives are:
● empowering the participants European identity and, awareness of the need for social participation to reduce climate change among European citizens.
● to introduce young people to the types of discrimination and ways to prevent it in live through art, dance and theatrical activities.
● understanding the differences between nations, making them more united through the meeting between different cultures
● to promote cultural awareness, solidarity and tolerance between countries presented.
● to promote inclusion and active citizenship among participants.
The main idea of the project is to use a combination of such methods as art therapy, dance and theater activities to find ways to prevent the spread of discrimination and intolerance among teenagers. The project involves the creation of creative projects (exhibitions / performances) in order to reveal the creative potential of each participant, as well as use as a dissemination of the project’s results for local communities.

o Increasing learning mobility opportunities for young people active in youth work;
