ACPELIA is thrilled to launch a call for participants for the Erasmus+ KA152YOU Youth Exchange “DiGiSC: Digital Storytelling for Social Change”, taking place from 3 to 11 April 2026 in the beautiful seaside village of Pissouri, Cyprus.
The project will gather 35 young people and 7 group leaders from 7 partner organizations across Europe and beyond, for a dynamic week of creativity, activism, and intercultural dialogue — all through the power of digital storytelling.
🎯 Project Overview
In an age of digital communication, storytelling is one of the most powerful tools for creating awareness, changing narratives, and addressing social issues. DiGiSC empowers young people to use video, photography, theatre, and social media to raise their voices on key topics such as social justice, diversity, inclusion, gender equality, and climate change.
Participants will learn to develop meaningful digital content, understand media ethics, and collaborate with international peers to create stories that matter — and share them with the world.
🧠 What You’ll Learn
Storytelling techniques using video, theatre & photography
How to design impactful digital campaigns
Use of tools like video editors, cameras & visual storytelling platforms
Understanding marginalization, stereotypes, and inclusive media practices
Group collaboration, public speaking, project planning, and more
Workshops will be led by experienced trainers using non-formal education methods such as role-playing, debates, games, simulations, and group challenges.
