Brief presentation of our project so to be able to answer according to our project.

Main Idea of the Project

The current epidemic sweeping the world puts new challenges for the whole civic society and youth work sector as well. COVID-19 has scuppered all plans and educational programs, forcing a dramatic reimagination of plans for the future and values of every person on earth. How can we reach young people in digital environments? Which activities can we arrange for young people online to promote social entrepreneurship? How can we support disadvantaged youth without any opportunity for face-to-face meetings? "Youth workers LAB - Business in digital age" project aims to equip youth workers and representatives from partner organizations with skills and knowledge as for both digital youth entrepreneurship and methods of online youth work.

Description of the Project

I project activity - Training course in Cyprus, March 2023. First training course program will be focused on principles and methodologies of online youth work and challenges youth workers face. Participants will learn proposed methods and contribute with their unique experience making new updated methodologies for the first part of Youth workers LAB Toolkit.

II Project activity - time for local youth work. Participants from training course in Cyprus will have opportunity to test developed methods in their NGOs gathering feedbacks from their colleges and local youth.

III Project activity - Training course in Georgia, June/July 2023. Participants will discover the opportunities of digital entrepreneurship and its features in local youth work with disadvantaged groups. Participants will create new methods for online social business promotion in their local communities and will contribute to the second part of Youth workers LAB Toolkit.

Objectives

The specific objectives of "Youth workers LAB - Business in digital age" project are as follows:

-To provide participants with knowledge about digital youth work methods and its possible benefits for youth work, especially in the context of working with young people at risk of exclusion during crisis times and in limited communicational abilities.

- To equip youth workers with new skills to promote social entrepreneurship and its digitalization for youth of different backgrounds

- To create a platform for intercultural communication and inclusive dialogue between the youth of EU and Partner countries

- To develop methodology network together with follow-up projects taking into account the skills and knowledge gained during the project to enhance collaboration between partners
