ACPELIA is thrilled to announce its participation in the upcoming Erasmus+ Training Course titled "Empowering Youth Workers for Inclusion in Rural Areas Through Sport", which will take place in the beautiful city of Iași, Romania, from the 4th to the 12th of November 2025.
We are looking for 3 youth workers, educators, or teachers to join us for the KA153YOU PDA: Non-Formal Education for Inclusion of Youths with Disabilities in Community Activities training in Iași, Romania from November 4-12, 2025!

Travelling food and accommodation all are paid from the program
3 Youthworkers /Teachers /Trainers will be selected from our organisation.

This international activity brings together youth workers from across Europe to explore how sports and physical activities can be powerful tools to foster social inclusion, team spirit, well-being, and active citizenship—especially in rural areas, where access to opportunities is often limited.
🎯 Project Objectives:
🧑🤝🧑 Strengthen the competences of youth workers to use sport as a tool for inclusion and participation.
🏡 Address the challenges faced by young people in rural areas, particularly those with fewer opportunities.
🤸 Promote active lifestyles, inclusion, and non-formal learning through sport.
🌐 Facilitate international cooperation and share best practices among organizations working with rural youth.
👥 Who Will Join?
ACPELIA will send 2 to 3 experienced youth workers to represent Cyprus in this dynamic training course. Participants will:
Gain new tools and methods to integrate sport in their youth work.
Engage in intercultural learning with peers from over 10 countries.
Co-create inclusive activities and action plans to implement back home.

The TC will be hosted in Iași, a vibrant cultural hub in Romania, known for its history, youth-friendly atmosphere, and strong civil society sector.

🤝 Our Role as ACPELIA:
We continue to empower our youth workers by engaging them in international mobility experiences, providing tools for inclusive education, and helping them develop initiatives for local impact. Through this training, we aim to bring back methodologies that can be applied in rural areas in Cyprus, including Pissouri, Voroklini, and beyond.
