Project Name: Youth Exchange “drama, a tool to promote inclusion and diversity”
Activity: Youth Exchange in Portugal. The “drama, a tool to promote inclusion and diversity” project will involve 35 participants from Portugal, Spain, Cyprus, Netherlands, Hungary and Italy, from 14 – 21 of December 2023.
Youth Exchange: 14 – 21 of December 2023 (including travelling days)
Accommodation: PAÇOS DE FERREIRA, Porto, Portugal
Venue: You'll stay splitted into two groups. One at "Paços Ferrara Hotel", and the other at "O Coreto - Alojamento Local". Both are located in Paços de Ferreira, Porto. The rooms have AC, a desk, a safe, a TV and a private bathroom. Rooms will be cleaned and towels will be changed every day. You'll stay in rooms of 2, 3 or 4 people, in the case of "Paços Ferrara Hotel", or in 2 room apartments, in "Coreto - Alojamento Local", Paços de Ferreira, Area of Porto, Portugal.
Food: participants will have 3- times-a-day meals and snacks and beverages for the coffee breaks.
5 youngsters (ages 17 to 25 years old) and one leader will be selected from our organisation.
Travelling food and accommodation all are paid from the program
Brief Description of the Project
“Drama – a tool to promote Inclusion and Diversity” is aiming to give youngsters/leaders proper tools and methods to help young people to adapt with selfimprovement in all its aspects and develop competences in the field of implementing their ideas, entrepreneurship and communication.
Objectives
Through this Youth Exchange we aim to emphasize on the following subjects:
to learn the importance of awareness of our human rights; to evaluate the ways by which we understand ourselves; to stimulate interest in human rights and racism;
to do feed-from-pressures, fear, discrimination or other "altered" factors self; to develop skills and to become better alternatively;
to encourage young people to think "out of the box";
to increase equal treatment of all for the improvement of ourselves; to encourage peoples to find alternative activities to assess themselves; to develop the idea of living in a fair and innovative world.
