Three Erasmus+ experiences. One journey. One spark for change.
ACPELIA is opening a new opportunity for young people, youth workers and future group leaders to become part of the SPARK Series, a trilogy of Erasmus+ projects developed by Associação Nó Górdio in Portugal.
Building on the legacy of the ACT Series, SPARK takes the next step: transforming awareness into energy, participation and meaningful action.
The series brings together one Professional Development Activity and two Youth Exchanges, creating a journey from learning and capacity building, to sustainability, and finally to active citizenship and youth participation.
The three activities are:
SPARK GREEN – Youth Exchange
SPARK+ – Professional Development Activity
SPARK VOICES – Youth Exchange
All activities will take place in Portugal during 2027.
🔥 First Step: APV in Porto
19 December 2026 | Porto, Portugal
Before the three main activities begin, an Advance Planning Visit (APV) will take place in Porto.
For this preparatory meeting, ACPELIA will select three representatives:
1 Group Leader for SPARK GREEN
1 representative for SPARK+
1 Group Leader for SPARK VOICES
The APV is an important part of the preparation process. Participants will meet the international partners, discuss the programme of the activities, clarify practical arrangements and help prepare the Cypriot teams that will later take part in the projects.
We are therefore looking for people who are motivated, responsible, communicative and ready to take an active role before, during and after the mobility.
The selected APV representatives are expected to continue their involvement in the respective SPARK activity in 2027.
We are currently looking especially for these 3 people.
If you would like to be involved in the SPARK Series from the very beginning, this is the best opportunity to join.
🌱 SPARK GREEN
Youth Exchange | February 2027
SPARK GREEN will focus on sustainability, environmental awareness and greener ways of living.
Young people will explore how everyday choices can influence the environment and how youth participation can contribute to more sustainable communities.
Through non-formal education, group activities, discussions, challenges and intercultural learning, participants will exchange ideas, discover good practices and develop their own approaches to sustainable living.
Cyprus Team
ACPELIA will participate with:
4 young participants + 1 Group Leader
Who can participate?
Young participants must be 18–30 years old.
The Group Leader must be 18 years old or above.
No previous Erasmus+ experience is necessary. We are looking for people who are motivated, open-minded, interested in sustainability and ready to participate actively throughout the whole programme.
💡 SPARK+
Professional Development Activity | March 2027
SPARK+ is designed for people involved in, or interested in becoming involved in, youth work, non-formal education and Erasmus+ activities.
The activity will provide participants with practical methods, tools and new perspectives that can be used in youth work and community activities.
It will also create a space for exchanging experiences with participants from other countries and developing new ideas around sustainability, inclusion and youth participation.
Who can participate?
Participants must be 18 years old or above.
The activity is particularly suitable for:
youth workers, educators, facilitators, trainers, NGO members, volunteers, youth leaders and people interested in becoming more actively involved in Erasmus+ and youth work.
🗣️ SPARK VOICES
Youth Exchange | 25–31 July 2027
Porto, Portugal
SPARK VOICES will focus on active citizenship, participation, inclusion and the power of young people's voices.
The project will encourage participants to reflect on how they can take a more active role in society, express their ideas, participate in democratic life and contribute to their local communities.
Through workshops, simulations, teamwork, discussions and creative activities, young people will explore what active citizenship means in practice and how participation can create positive change.
Cyprus Team
ACPELIA will participate with:
4 young participants + 1 Group Leader
Who can participate?
Young participants must be 18–30 years old.
The Group Leader must be 18 years old or above.
We are looking for motivated young people who are interested in participation, inclusion, European values, intercultural learning and becoming more active in their communities.

develop your communication and teamwork skills, meet people from different countries, improve your confidence, experience non-formal education, exchange ideas and good practices, discover new cultures, become more involved in Erasmus+ opportunities and build an international network.
You will also have the chance to bring your experience back to Cyprus and contribute to future ACPELIA activities.
✨ Who are we looking for?
We are looking for people who are:
motivated and reliable,
interested in Erasmus+ and international learning,
open to working in multicultural teams,
ready to participate actively in all activities,
willing to contribute before and after the mobility,
and interested in becoming more involved with ACPELIA.
Previous Erasmus+ experience is welcome, but it is not required.
What matters most is your motivation and willingness to participate.
