🔎 About the Project

The Erasmus+ KA153 Training Course "Youth Work Against Misinformation" is designed for youth workers and youth leaders who want to develop skills in digital literacy, critical thinking, and online protection. In a world flooded with fake news, digital overload, and harmful online behaviors, youth workers must be equipped to guide young people toward safe and responsible digital engagement.

This international training will bring together participants from Cyprus, Germany, Portugal, Romania, North Macedonia, Turkey, and Poland for an intensive week of learning, exchange, and collaboration.

🎯 Objectives of the Training

• Strengthen digital literacy and online critical thinking skills

• Understand the impact of misinformation and fake news on youth

• Explore national practices on digital youth work and protection

• Create awareness campaigns and Instagram Reels

• Develop follow-up activities and outreach campaigns in local communities

📍 STATION Backpacker’s Hostel, Cologne

🛏️ Accommodation and meals are fully covered by the Erasmus+ programme.

✈️ Travel costs for Cyprus participants are reimbursed up to 360 EUR.

👥 Participant Profile

We are looking for 4 youth workers or youth leaders based in Cyprus who are:

✅ 18+ years old

✅ Active in youth work, NGOs, or community organizing

✅ Interested in digital tools, media literacy, and Erasmus+

✅ Motivated to take part in the whole process, including local follow-up

✅ Fluent in English

✅ Gender-balanced team
