ACPELIA, in cooperation with AYCEU (Armenian Youth of Cyprus for EU), is proud to be a partner in the Erasmus+ project PEMEHECON—"Protect “the Environment and your Mental Health with your Connection with Nature.” This innovative initiative combines environmental education, mental health awareness, and creative expression through Forest Theatre and non-formal learning tools.

This project aims to empower youth workers and educators with innovative tools that link environmental awareness to mental well-being, helping young people reconnect with nature as a source of strength, healing, and creativity. Through non-formal education and experiential learning, the project promotes sustainability and emotional resilience.

🌍 Upcoming Training Activity in Vienna (Austria)
As part of the project, a Professional Development Activity (PDA) will be held in Vienna, Austria, where youth workers from 7 countries will gather for a week of practical training, Forest Theatre workshops, and skill development.
🗓 Training Dates: 2nd – 9th May 2026 (including travel days)
📍 Location: Vienna, Austria

👥 Participants: 21 youth workers (3 per organisation)
🇨🇾 Call for Participants – Cyprus Team
ACPELIA and AYCEU are now selecting 3 youth workers from Cyprus to participate in this international training course.

✅ Eligibility Criteria:
Aged 18+
Experience or strong interest in youth work, environmental education, or mental health awareness
Motivated to learn about Forest Theatre and nature-based educational tools
Willing to participate in follow-up activities in Cyprus after the training
Able to commit to the full training dates
💰 Costs:
Travel, accommodation, and food are fully covered by the Erasmus+ Programme.
