🌍 About the Project

“Beyond the Algorithm” is an international training course designed to support youth workers in understanding, critically engaging with, and practically applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their work.

The training combines non-formal education, hands-on experimentation, and intercultural exchange, enabling participants to explore how AI can enhance youth work while also addressing its ethical and social implications.

🎯 Aims & Objectives

The project aims to strengthen the role of youth workers in the digital era by:

Increasing understanding of AI concepts, tools, and societal impact
Developing digital competences through practical use of AI tools
Strengthening capacity to address topics such as ethics, algorithmic bias, data privacy, and digital rights
Promoting intercultural dialogue and European cooperation among participants
Supporting participants in creating action plans to integrate AI literacy into their local youth work activities

💡 What You Will Gain

Participants will:

Gain practical skills in using AI tools in youth work
Exchange experiences with youth workers from across Europe
Improve facilitation, communication, and digital skills
Develop ideas and tools to implement in their local communities

👤 Participant Profile

We are looking for participants who:

Are 18+ years old
Are youth workers, youth leaders, or active in community/educational initiatives
Have a basic level of English
Are motivated to learn about AI and digital tools
Are open-minded, proactive, and willing to work in an intercultural environment
Commit to actively participate and disseminate the results after the project
