ACPELIA is proud to invite young people from Cyprus to participate in an inspiring Erasmus+ youth exchange project hosted in the heart of Lithuanian nature at a truly unique location — the Innovator’s Valley, a revitalized 17th-century monastery surrounded by breathtaking landscapes.

🌍 About the Project

“Greenwood: Exploring New Path in Nature and Culture” is not just a youth exchange — it's a journey of self-discovery, intercultural dialogue, and deep reconnection with the natural world. Participants from Cyprus, Lithuania, and Romania will come together to live, learn, and grow in a peaceful and creatively stimulating environment.

The program is rooted in the belief that nature is a universal language — one that allows us to connect beyond borders, backgrounds, or spoken words. Through this project, participants will have the chance to:

• Discover Lithuanian forests, rivers, and trails through outdoor adventures

• Experience kayaking and hiking as tools for bonding and reflection

• Exchange personal stories, values, and traditions with peers from different cultures

• Engage in non-formal learning activities, team-building games, and creativity-based workshops

Our goal is to empower youth to embrace diversity, foster intercultural understanding, and reconnect with themselves and others through the simplicity and wisdom of nature.

🛏️ Accommodation and Setting

Carmelite barefoot monastery, Antaliepte, Lithuania

Participants will be hosted in a restored historical monastery — now transformed into a cultural and environmental co-living space. This unique setting offers the perfect blend of heritage, peace, and inspiration.

• Shared rooms with beds, linens, and towels provided

• Shared bathrooms

• Communal spaces for workshops and relaxation

• Immersion in the calm and beauty of the surrounding nature

  

🍽️ Meals and Practical Details

All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be freshly prepared daily. Participants will enjoy healthy, local food that supports both the environment and our energy needs for exploration!

• 🧳 No need to bring bedding or towels

• 🚌 Travel costs will be fully covered (round trip)

• 🗺️ All logistics and local transport are handled by the host team

• 🎒 Just bring your open heart, good energy, and love for nature!

  
  

👥 Who Can Apply?

We are looking for:

• Young people aged 18–30 from Cyprus

• Curious minds eager to explore cultures and share their own

• Adventurous spirits ready for meaningful outdoor experiences

• Individuals with a willingness to collaborate and connect

No prior experience in youth exchanges or outdoor education is necessary. A positive attitude and openness to new experiences are all you need!
