🌱🏃♀️ EcoMove – Erasmus+ Youth Exchange | Call for Participants (ACPELIA)
EcoMove is an international Erasmus+ Youth Exchange that brings together young people who want to move more, live healthier, and care for the environment through sport, teamwork, and non-formal education.
📍 Location: Mogoșești-Siret, Romania (Tabăra Muncel)
📅 Dates: 31 May – 11 June 2026
👥 Participants: 6 young people (16–18 years old) + 1 group leader (25+) from Cyprus
💶 Costs: Travel, accommodation, food, and activities are covered by Erasmus+
Cyprus Follow-Up Activity – YE ECOMOVE
Introduction
Following their participation in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange ECOMOVE, held in Romania from 31 May to 11 June 2026, the Cyprus team organized a local follow-up and dissemination activity to share the knowledge, experiences, and skills acquired during the project with other young people and members of their local community.
Follow-Up Activity
On 16 June 2026, participants Lambidona, Eleni, Kleopatra, Valeria, together with their group leader Eirini Christofi, conducted a dissemination event at Lykeio Apostolou Louka Kolossiou. The activity gathered approximately 20 students and teachers, who were introduced to the objectives and outcomes of the ECOMOVE Youth Exchange. Participants presented the project's activities, shared photos and personal experiences, and discussed the importance of healthy lifestyles, environmental awareness, sports, intercultural learning, and active citizenship.
Impact and Results
The dissemination event successfully increased awareness among local young people about Erasmus+ opportunities and encouraged participation in international mobility projects. Participants reflected on the positive impact of the exchange on their personal development, highlighting improved communication, teamwork, self-confidence, and environmental responsibility. The activity also contributed to promoting non-formal learning methods and the values of European cooperation.

The Cyprus team further promoted the project through social media posts covering the APV, preparation activities, youth exchange implementation, and follow-up actions on Facebook and Instagram, ensuring wider visibility of the project's results and impact.

Summary
The Cyprus follow-up activity demonstrated the lasting impact of the ECOMOVE Youth Exchange. By sharing their experiences with peers and the local community, participants multiplied the project's results, promoted healthy and sustainable lifestyles, and inspired other young people to become active, environmentally conscious European citizens.
🔎 What is EcoMove about?
EcoMove combines sports, outdoor activities, and ecological awareness. Participants will take part in football, volleyball, hiking, outdoor challenges, and creative team games, while also joining workshops and discussions about sustainability, healthy lifestyles, and inclusion.

👤 Who can apply?
Youth participants (16–18):
Interested in sport, movement, and active lifestyles
Curious about ecology and sustainability
Basic English level
Motivated to participate actively in group activities
Group leader (25+):
Experience in youth work
Good English level
Skills in communication and conflict management
🏕️ Accommodation & Safety
Participants will stay at Tabăra Muncel in shared rooms (3–4 people), with:
Private bathroom
Gender and age separation
Separate rooms for leaders and youth
Safe and supportive environment
